Changing diabetes healthier lifestyle programme

As part of Novo Nordisk's commitment to Changing diabetes, we are pleased to introduce our new programme designed to help people - with or without diabetes - change their eating and exercise habits in order to live a healthier life.

This is a 13 week programme consisting of daily e-mails (excluding weekends) which aims to educate people about healthy eating and exercise.

The emphasis is on encouraging people to make healthier choices rather than presenting a 'fashionable' diet package with which you lose weight quickly only to regain it when you return to normal eating patterns.  The aim is to move to a healthier lifestyle for good!

This programme is designed to be of of benefit to:

  • People who are newly diagnosed with diabetes and need to learn about managing it through diet and exercise
  • People who are already living with diabetes and need to improve control
  • People who recognise that they need to improve their lifestyle habits in order to prevent diabetes later in life
  • Anybody who needs to lose some weight.

A new topic is covered each week and valuable advice is given on issues such as:

  • Fats, sugars and protein
  • Drinking – non-alcoholic and alcohol drinks
  • Different types of exercise
  • The Glycaemic Index

and much more.

Make the decision to change your lifestyle and subscribe today!

NOTE:  The course is set out in weekly parts so your first e-mail will arrive in your inbox the Monday following the day you subscribe.
